I received the 7 cup processor as part of the ambassador program, and honestly, I'm SO grateful that I was given the opportunity to use this product. It was not something I would have sought out, but now that I've used it, I couldn't imagine my kitchen without it. It not only replaced my blender, but my box grater and pastry cutter, too! It's simple to use, VERY easy to clean, and it works exactly how you'd hope it would. I've made silky soups, creamy hummus, perfectly shredded potatoes, pie crust... I could go on and on. It's on the larger side, but I wouldn't want it any other way. It's become a permanent fixture!

J'ai originalement reçu cet article en cadeau et il fonctionne très bien. Facile à utiliser, assembler, laver. Par contre, après avoir fait quelques croûtes à tarte en une soirée, l'appareil a subitement cessé de fonctionner. Heureusement j'étais encore sous garantie et j'ai eut un échange sans trouble.
Parfait pour les aliments plutôt délicats, mais je ne le ré-utiliserais pas pour les aliments tels des p™tes épaisses.

This unit looks nice, but the first problem I experienced with it was it didn't have any real power unless I held the pulse option. The high and low settings were both weak. The other issue was the two inserts falling out of the lid and smashing on my counter or floor every time I opened the lid. One of the inserts chipped within the first few uses. Holding the inserts in or removing them every time you open the lid to scrap the sides of the bowl down was really inconvenient. I only used this a few times because I found it frustrating. I brought it out recently to use and it started smoking and stopped working altogether...days later it still doesn't work. I can count one one hand how many times I used this unit before it died. I would have expected more from Kitchen Aid...I haven't even had this product a year. Why are appliances (small and large) disposable these days? It's horribly wasteful. My mom is still using the same food processor she had when I was a kid. Kitchen Aid and other appliances companies need to step their game for their customers and our planet

I used to use a smaller sized food processor, this 7 cup one is just perfect for making scorns, pie crust, and pesto sauce. It's easy to remove the lid and clean. I wish there were more color options.

I had a tiny limited processor, decided I needed a larger unit. I choose the 7 Cup and is perfect for daily use making dips and recipes. I have used this a few weeks now and has some nice features, as easy off lid, pull straight up to clean bowl, small foot print on counter. I choose Kitchen Aid for Quality, add to my Kitchen Aid Collection.

Unfortunately, as other reviews have suggested, this product is very short lived. After only two uses, my kitchen aid 7 cup food processor stopped working. The motor will not cut on and none of the buttons will light up anymore. Very disappointing product; I expected better quality from a company like KitchenAide

Our previous Kitchen Aid food processor was nine
years old and the top part was falling apart on the handle. It got to the place where it was almost impossible to use. The motor was still in very good shape. Bed Bath and Beyond sold us this one and man does it work good. I my self use it primarily to bring my almonds and walnuts. My wife uses it for everything else. We are both very happy with it.

I find that the size of the bowl is big enough to hold a good amount of food, and the food processor fits pretty well on the kitchen counter: however, some of the slices of cucumber did not get shredded, also, the blade did not seem as sharp as the one that came with my old mini processor that I had( adapted from the blender). In addition, there are only two setting basically: high and low, with ice crush and pulse. Overall, it was a good purchase.

Who can I High Five around here?!? I recently purchased the KitchenAid Food Processor after having three other brands fail to meet my needs. To begin, the (lack of) noise is a blessing considering I'm able to use this machine while my little one is sleeping. HUGE!
I also enjoy how low the blades are. This is important for things such as humus. My previous brands had the blade placed too high and I wasn't able to get a good mix on my tahini.
Finally, I enjoy the ease in which I connect the bowl and lid so I can start processing the food. I don't have to make sure I rotate the bowl, then rotate the lid to lock everything in, and then press the button.
If I'm allowed to be picky, the one thing I would change is for the power cord to be retractable. I'm able to wrap it around the bottom, but other brands I used recently had the ability for the cord to retract into the base of the machine.

I bought this food processor after my old one (a cheaper, black and decker one) broke. I'm really glad I brought this one. It's fast and processes food very smoothly. Thanks to this food processor, I'm able to make creamy hummus and sauces quickly and frequently. I've also used it in a chickpea cookie cake dessert recipe. I'm thinking of also buying one for my younger sister's new apartment

This is the best food processor I have ever had. It's quiet, smooth and I love how you can just push bowl into place, others I had to align then twist on(which caused it to break and not work anymore) kitchenaid has always been great, we have coffee maker, mixer, dishwasher and now food processor!

As much as I love my new processor, wish I had waited for the 9 cup size to come out. I don't know if the blades of 9 cup would fit 7 cup, but I would liked having the fine slicer, grater blades and the thicker slicer. Dough hook not important, but those extra blades would of been preferred.

I've used a few processors and waited many years to purchase this one. The other processors I used were a mess to clean up, took too much storage space, and their owners complained about the difficulty to set up and take apart. When I found this processor and played with it in the store before purchase, I realized how much simpler it was compared to the others. The processor motor is much quieter. The parts are sturdy and easy to take apart; clean up is a breeze, and I can store it all in one corner of a drawer on my island. So happy with my purchase!

I like KitchenAid but disappointed that the first time I used it, it quit. I chopped onions, bell peppers, carrots and was on the celery when it quit. I tried everything and it will not work on any of the 3 buttons. There's power to it because the buttons light but a no go. Returning today.

It was very noisy and don't like the lid the slicer disk is thin and flimsy, little under powered also doesn't weigh much, but performs good and the build quality is similar almost to there higher priced models. i'd say spend more and buy one of their deluxe models .

I decided I had to make Pesto and never replaced my broken processor. With tons of help from a very knowledgeable young gentleman, he made my decision a snap. I bought it, went home, washed it well and BOOM -pesto done in a flash!
